CHICAGO – Team USA needed a break. Coming around minute 65, Alex Morgan found herself in front of the goal alone with Dutch player, Stefanie Van Der Gragt. The ball was passed forward and Morgan went for it. Van Der Gragt was in the moment and tried to bring the ball down with her right foot. Unfortunately, Van Der Gragt was too committed and fouled Morgan. The Referee called a foul and the US was awarded with a PK in the box – which Captain Meghan Rapinoe scored on.
