SANTA MONICA — Orlando City SC dazzled on Sunday’s match against rival New York City FC, winning 2-1 at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY.
Cyle Larin, Orlando City SC’s star player, scored against NYCFC, continuing his streak against New York City FC. In fact, the player scored 13 goals against NYCFC in 2015.
David Villa also made a terrific goal on the volley from a tough angle.
Orlando seemed determined to prevent NYCFC’s Jack Harrison from beating them along the flanks. NYCFC Head Coach, Patrick Vieira, moved Harrison to the left flank, but Harrison struggled in that position and as a result, the team struggled.
This match was Orlando’s third straight win and fifth of the season. It gives them a 5-1 start.
