Gyasi Zardes, forward for the LA Galaxy and US Men’s National Team member, made an incredible accomplishment at the Stubhub Center field on Friday, and this time it had nothing to do with soccer! Zardes graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills in a ceremony that took place at Stubhub Center, the very same field where he has shined for the LA Galaxy since 2013.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. Zardes originally attended Cal State Bakersfield for three years before becoming a member of the LA Galaxy. Still determined to get his degree and live up to the promise he made his father, after going pro Zardes enrolled in classes at Cal State Dominguez Hills. He simultaneously took classes and played for the USMNT and The Galaxy.
Zardes is expected to join the rest of his team as they take on Minnesota FC at TCF Stadium tomorrow at 2:00. The game will air on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
